Correction: Re the items on the Passover Seder plate: The charoset mentioned – which symbolizes the mortar used in building by the Israelites in Egypt – is the brown ‘mushy’ mixture top center of the plate; some of which is on the plate in the foreground. The lighter mixture next to the egg is horseradish or maror – a bitter herb that brings tears to the eyes and reminds us of the suffering of slavery.
Also… Apologies for the slightly distorted sound due to use of a fan. Recording was done on a very hot summer’s day in apartment without air-conditioner. May you still enjoy!
